Ticket sales close Friday 17th June at 3pm. NO TICKET SALES AT THE GATE ON THE DAY.


GETTING THERE: FREE BUSES + PARKING

Festival-goers can drive to the event or catch one of our free buses from surrounding locations.

The Adelong Showgrounds is the venue for Winter Bites Festival in Adelong. The entrance and exit to the festival grounds is via Cromwell Street. If you’re driving, you can park in the surrounding streets. No parking is allowed within the showgrounds.

Free buses will be departing from:

  • Tumbarumba, 10:30am – from the TrainLink bus stop in Union Lane (the carpark behind the Tumbarumba Hotel)
  • Wagga Wagga, 10:30am – from the Visitor Information Centre car park
  • Tumut, 11:30am – from the CountryLink bus stop in Russell Street
  • Batlow, 11:15am – from the CountryLink bus stop in Pioneer Street

Save your seat on the buses by completing this online form. The buses will return to the same locations after the event finishes at 6pm. Bus bookings close close Friday 17th June at 3pm.

Note: The buses are classed as public transport so wearing a mask is essential while aboard.

FESTIVAL ENTRY

Gates open at 12pm. Please bring your Winter Bites Festival ticket either on your phone or printed so it can be scanned by our team on entry. You’ll also need to check in using the Service NSW app to facilitate contact tracing if needed.

All attendees will receive a complimentary wine tumbler on arrival to use throughout the day.

  • 12:30pm Montgomery Church
  • 1:30pm Andy Golledge Band
  • 2:30pm Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys
  • 3:30pm Charlie Collins
  • 4:45pm Kasey Chambers

FOOD + DRINKS

There’ll be all kinds of local and regional goodies including:

  • Junee Licorice & Chocolate
  • Ladbroken Distillery
  • MKS Café
  • OMG Decadent Donuts Gundagai
  • Pimientoas Paella
  • Riverina Gin
  • The Smoking Butcher

You can buy food and drinks for consumption at the event, or take some home for later (there’ll be a collection point at the exit). Cash and EFTPOS facilities will be available at the stalls.

WHAT TO BRING (AND WHAT NOT TO BRING)

Winter Bites is a pet free event – no pets will be allowed on the grounds (support animals are permitted).

You’ll find plenty of chairs and tables spread around the event site, but feel free to bring a picnic blanket along if you like.

No food or drinks may be brought into the venue.

COVID

You will need to check in upon arrival with the Service NSW app. Masks are not mandatory as our event is outdoors, though you are welcome to wear one.

Please follow the latest health advice by maintaining physical distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying home if unwell.

You’ll be able to get your hands on our exclusive Winter Bites scarves, beanies, stubby holders and blankets. They’ll be available for purchase at the event.
