Saturday 5th June 2021, 12pm to 6pm

Surrounded by idyllic mountain peaks, natural bushland and crystal-clear streams, Winter Bites Festival is set to bring a celebration of local produce, beverages and high-profile music acts to Tumbarumba. The area is renowned for its award-winning vineyards and lush agricultural pastures, along with the delicious chestnuts and berries that grow in the region.

Busby Marou and Emily Wurramara are two amazing musical talents and will be part of the epic line up that rocks the stage from midday to 6pm.

Winter Bites Festival will be held over three dates in winter. After Tumbarumba, we move onto Adelong and Batlow, all towns that were heavily impacted by bushfires during the summer of 2019-2020. The events are ticketed so make sure you grab yours, bring along your best beanie and get set for some delicious food and beverages and one incredible winter afternoon.

  • SOLD OUT Early bird tickets: $40 + booking fee
  • Second release: $55 + booking fee

Please note: Winter Bites Tumbarumba attendees must be over 18.

The Line Up

With a local wine in hand and a warm beanie on your head, you’ll be listening to Busby Marou and Emily Wurramara up on stage at Winter Bites in Tumbarumba!

Busby Marou first met at a pub in Rockhampton, and they’ve loved regional gigs ever since [with a few big-ticket performances supporting the likes of Elton John, Bryan Adams and Zac Brown Band, of course]. You might’ve heard songs from their four ARIA Charting albums [including their latest, The Great Divide], and if you haven’t? Well, it’s time to rectify that.

Emily is originally from Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, and began her musical journey to help inspire and empower members of her community, especially young Indigenous women, to find their voice. Her debut album was ARIA-nominated and won an AIR award for Best Blues and Roots Album. She’s toured extensively across Australia, Canada and Ireland, and now you’ll be listening to her up on stage at Winter Bites!

You’ll also find Babitha, Corey Legge and Rory Phillips on the line-up!
