NOTE: THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST
SATURDAY 18TH JUNE, 12PM TO 6PM
Nestled on the banks of Adelong Creek, this heritage gateway to the Snowy Mountains is the second stop on the Winter Bites Festival event trail. Set to celebrate the delicious local produce and beverages of the Adelong region, this historical town will showcase its renowned grass-fed lamb and beef, as well as a fantastic music line-up. Headlining the musical acts is an Australian legend, Kasey Chambers whose beautiful country music voice will fill the winter air while the festival runs from midday to 6pm.
It’ll also be a 2-in-1 event with our friends at Adelong Meat Up who are holding a BBQ competition where teams will compete for the inaugural title using locally sourced beef and lamb.
After a successful first outing in Tumbarumba last winter, Winter Bites Festival continues in 2022 with rescheduled events set to go ahead in Adelong followed by Batlow. They’re all towns that were heavily impacted by bushfires during the summer of 2019-2020. The events are ticketed so make sure you grab yours, bring along your best beanie and get set for some delicious food and beverages and one incredible winter afternoon.
Tickets are on sale now + close Friday 17th June at 3pm
**NO TICKET SALES AT THE GATE ON THE DAY**
- Early bird tickets: $40 + booking fee

The Line Up
Kasey Chambers is headlining Winter Bites in Adelong! And yes, your much-loved favourites from albums like ‘The Captain’ and ‘Barricades & Brickwalls’ will be on the set list, alongside newer material too! Oh, and did you know in 2018 she became the youngest female ever to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame? You won’t want to miss this talent up on stage.
She’ll be supported by Charlie Collins! If there’s anything we know, it’s that regional areas are home to a whole bunch of talent so it’s no real surprise that Charlie grew up in Tamworth, NSW. In 2019, her album Snowpine was nominated for Best Country Album at the ARIA awards and won the Best Independent Country Album award at the 2020 AIR Awards.
You’ll also find Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys, Andy Golledge Band and Montgomery Church on the line-up!
